Our Materials

The star of the show. Thin, light and tactile; not only is the cork beautiful but it is sustainable too. The bark of the cork tree is removed without damaging the tree which continues to grow more bark.

What's more, we think it is equally nice to the touch as leather, if not more so and no cows were harmed in the making of these wallets.

The cork is very easily cleaned, just wipe with warm soapy water.

As a company we want to have as little impact on the environment as possible. We are working on finding a greener material to provide the structure of the wallet but until we do we are using the most sustainable plastic we can find.

Polypropylene uses the least amount of energy on production in comparison to other plastics and produces the least carbon dioxide emissions. It is 100% recyclable and can be used multiple times before the end of its life. It is also a low density plastic meaning less waste compared to other plastics and when it does degrade it does so without cross linking, gel forming or off-gassing.

The spring steel provides the grip needed to make the wallet possible. Its high yield strength allows the wallet to flex around your cards whilst still maintaining its strong grip.

When the wallet comes to the end of its (hopefully very long) life, it can be stripped down; all the inner bits are recyclable and the cork will biodegrade.
